Yes, going forward - and based on the tendency of Nigerians to read politics into all statements - it will be wise for the Presidency to adopt a routine set of simple and concise statements to be transmitted to the NASS for this kind of transfer of power : one for annual vacation, another for medical vacation, for impeachment, for incapacity certification, for resignation and - God forbid - for death.
PYO is unambiguously the Acting President, with the full mantle of the Presidency, but he will be wise to be always in touch with the Elected President PMB.
