OFO HIRES TWO ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONALS
Owerri, Imo State; June 05, 2017: The President of Organizing for Opportunities (OFO) has recommended and the Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of the following professionals in furtherance of the goals of the non-profit organization registered with the Office of Corporate Affairs in Abuja.
Barrister Chigozie Ibeh, Corporate Council. An alumnus of the University of Abuja and a lawyer with over six years of practice in Nigeria, Barrister Ibeh will serve as Corporate Council to OFO. Ibeh is from Nwangele in the Orlu (Imo West) Senatorial District of Imo State. He will liaise with and provide legal counsel to the Board of Trustees and the Administrative officers of the organization on all legal matters and represent the group in legal matters or assign such to other legal firms as necessary. His most recent assignment for OFO was in effecting the incorporation of OFO in Nigeria in time for the organization's first public event, held on May 27, 2017, in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Mr. Chilenwa Metu, Communications Coordinator. Mr. Chilenwa Metu has a Master's degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in English Language. His Bachelor's degree, also in English was also obtained from UNN. He is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in the same field. Metu will handle communications and mobilization strategies for OFO. He hails from Mbano in the Okigwe (Imo North) Senatorial District.
Both professionals have joined Barrister Chijioke Ugorji, who is already functioning as the Executive Assistant to the President and Manager of OFO's Micro-Finance Program. He is also designated as the Corporate Secretary for the organization. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013, Barrister Ugorji is a graduate of Imo State University. He hails from Aboh Mbaise, in the Owerri (Imo East) Senatorial District.
