Corne,
You dey fear too much o, no be talk like this make you to run from your night shadow and begin to yab that African cannibals want chop you, and begin dey shout say African cannibals dey chase you:
'As I have said previously in this forum, the only person that I am afraid of in this forum is Biko Agozino– and I have my mystical reasons. Let me put it this way: Imam Ali (alaihi salaam) says that you should not be afraid of anyone who is not afraid of you.'
No shaking, bros. No one is afraid of you and I have no reason why anyone would say that yours truly is the only one they fear in a harmless forum like this. But as you know, the fear of Igbo domination is very real and has historically led to a lot of mass hysteria, genocide and denialism. Glad to know that you are among those who oppose fascist tendencies but you should also demand reparations for past wrongs visited on your Igbo brothers and sisters.
You know perfectly well where I got my name from but I cannot say the same for you, an African who goes by the title of an officer in the army of the Holy Roman Empire. Glad to know that your mother is a Nigerian sister. We all are one and some day we will all unite across Africa to build the Peoples Republic of Africa United Democratically (PRAUD) and free the talents of our people to guarantee the security and happiness of all our people in all our diversity.

Dear Biko,
(And where did you get that name? Steve? Ethnic solidarity. There's also solidarity X )...Wasn't it Walcott who said " ..either I'm nobody or I'm a nation"
Adebayo is the name of my Uncle Tunde's (Tunde Tagoe) first son (born in England) followed by Olayinka. My uncle Tunde's mother was Yoruba (perhaps you would say Egba) his father was Ga – from Ghana. My son Nathan's first name is Ola, the same name as my younger brother. In our tradition, names get recycled within the family, albeit without necessarily having to add the prefix "Baba" every now and then...
Bear with me.
I'm writing this prior to reading Ogbeni Kadiri's latest rejoider. I phoned him late last night (at approx 23 hours, chatted for a short while about the latest forum idiosyncrasies and indiscretions) after which he returned to pounding his keyboard, returned to the onerous duty of having to reply to several rascals (recalcitrants I call them) all in one response.
Let me assure you that I'm with you all the way but for your use of that disgusting epithet to describe our venerable Oba of Lagos. The animalization of the Oba of Lagos. Great disrespect.
I should not like to relegate you to the same category as that scoundrel Lars Vilks
Otherwise – as Ogbeni Kadiri has explained previously, by taking the Oba's manner of speaking, literally, you have misunderstood and misinterpreted what he said – that he intends to drown each and every Igbo that does not vote for his man, to drown them one by one - or en masse, in the Lagos Lagoon. Death by water and in the right month too ! Not the gas chamber like that genocidal son of a bitch, but by waterr – and the Almighty gave us the sign of the rainbow – which means never again, by water.
So dear Biko, the Oba surely could not have meant that he was going to commit mass murder? At least not as bad as (later history of Islam) the authority who said that "Anyone who says that Muhammad was black ( in complexion) , is killed" - not " will be killed" but "is killed" - signifying the immediacy of the execution of such an edict.
Dear Biko, please understand that I'm with you all the way as concerns the legitimate fears of the Igbos of Lagos and the Igbos in other parts of Nigeria and the Igbos worldwide, as and when such fear may arise. But if you (Biko Agozino) were to call or waxing poetic were to want to baptise my biological or my Heavenly Father "the baboon of the Lagoon" - I won't say that you would be in mortal danger (there's a law in Sweden known as olaga hot / threatning someone with greivious bodily harm is unlawful) but whether I perish immediately after that or not, you would surely face the dire consequences sooner or later and should not hope to get away with Juliet's plea " What's in a name?"
As I have said previously in this forum, the only person that I am afraid of in this forum is Biko Agozino– and I have my mystical reasons.
Let me put it this way: Imam Ali (alaihi salaam) says that you should not be afraid of anyone who is not afraid of you. That's why Iran should be afraid of Israel about the nuclear issue....
Let us apply this insight, illogical as it may seem on the surface, to the present situation we are facing – and when I say "we", I mean, all of us.
One last little thing afrer Port Harcourt, ABA was my second haunt in Nigeria...
Yours Sincerely,
fraternally
Cornelius

Cornelius, when did you change your last name in apparent ethnic solidarity? It is not only the Igbo who are outraged by the despicable threat of genocide. When he called for dialogues to be free of negative postings among forum members, Falola did not mean to censor the unapologetic condemnation of the incitement to evil against the innocent by a man capable of impressing some youths to do his wicked bidding. You should add your voice to the condemnation of the tyrant in defense of democracy, it is not a curse to denounce fascist tendencies. The man dies in all who keep silent in the face of tyranny. It is the Igbo today, tomorrow it could be your people who are unfairly targeted by organized criminals and I can assure you that if that happens, you can count on the Igbo to share your deserved moral outrage. There are so many chiefs in Lagos, according to Bolaji, and yet none of them has had the courage to denounce the madness of their 'permanent chairman'. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to keep silent or, even worse, try to silence those who are raising the alarm.Biko
Chief Sir Bolaji Aluko,Of course the Igbo Lagosians have a right to shout and even a greater right to vote (secret ballot) according to their consciences but we ought not let the hysteria of those fumigating so passionately to preside over our better selves, especially not after Oga Falola's recent appeal for decorum in our forum.I wonder what Doyin Okupe himself thinks about the level of invective being used by the Biko Agozinos. Do they think that they have a monopoly on cursing revered leaders? Some of us have less to lose than others. What would happen if we all went bananas?A word to the wiser is usually sufficient.Sadly,Cornelius Adebayo

Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs is one body, which has the capacity to contribute phenomenonally to good governance in the State by constantly availing government of its wisdom and sound advice: using its tremendous influence to mobilize popular support for public policy as well as being an important source of communication and feedback between the government and the grassroots. The Institution of the Council of Obas and Chiefs is a critical building block that every government must engage seriously if development and orderly societal growth is at the core of its vision. As an Institution, the Council of Obas and Chiefs is as old as Lagos state itself. It was established following the creation of Lagos State through the Council of Obas and Chiefs of Lagos State, Edict 1969 which came into force in April, 1969. The erstwhile Council of Obas and Chiefs, which was constituted in December 1995 with Thirty-One members, was dissolved by the immediate past State executive Council at its 11th meeting held on Monday 28th May, 2007.The new Council has a total of Fifty-one members drawn from the five divisions of the State. The Oba of Lagos is the permanent Chairman of the State Council of Obas and Chiefs with four Vice-Chairmen drawn from the four divisions of the State namely: Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Alara of Ilara, Olu of Ikeja and the Akran of Badagry.MEMBERS OF THE LAGOS STATE COUNCIL OF OBAS & CHIEFS
