Scowl of night
Will give way
To grin of day.
Twitter of canaries
Will fill the firmament
And drown sound
Of eerie crows
Of crows.
Cock crows
Will wake children
Who suckled breasts
Of mothers
Burdened with grief.
Buds will bloom
And bring forth lavenders.
Heaven will heave
And release Amadioha.
Ofo,
Our totem
Hung atop thresholds
Of our homesteads
Will draw dews.
