I read your words, OA, and I read your too, Dayo Emmanuel. Reducing Nigeria's problem to federalism is mere gramatology, as in the whole world there is no federalism that is true; every nation works out her own based on the socio- political peculiarities of her people's'. I also agree we need a strong proposal for a greater Nigeria. But just before that proposal , we must first re-state the statements of our problems that Fela had made since the 70's. Now, quelle est la probleme avec Nigeria? ( Sorry, just learning French) As O.A implied, our country is being ruled by people of Co Low nial Mentality Fela Abamieda called them Vagabonds in Power (VIP) Ogundowole 2005 called them Khakistricrats- (The worst people in the society) That is why Nigeria is a Big Blind Country (BBC) A Country of Pains (COP) Where rulers engage in Authorty Stealing (AS) But instead of revolting, people still do Follow Follow, So, today we make a little progress-or so we think In all major issues of life - water, lighti, foodu, housi, Original Sufferhead Tomorrow we realize we have been perambulating, since 1960, Perambulators That whether with balewa, gowon, obasanjo, sagari, buhari, babangida, iyangida, abacha-salami, obasanjo and second yaradua, ( small letters deliberate) The problems remain the same since 1960; none is solved. Yet, we doll out GCFR every year, Honoring people who dishonored our people So the world looks and laughs at us, Look and Laugh For being Akunakuna, Senior Brother of Perambulators. Though it is too early- I think late really- to judge Jonathan, Fela already identified the problems of Nigeria for us, and it is from these problems we should draw our objectives-what you rightly call proposal for Nigeria, O.A my brother. Until we address Nigeria's problems through this research method, am sorry, we may not be making progress any soon. Nuff respect for Fela Anikulpo Kuti, abamieda, alatako agbaye THE MAN WHO SAW TOMORROW FOR NIGERIA --- On Thu, 7/15/10, Anunoby, Ogugua <AnunobyO@lincolnu.edu> wrote:
