In the court of kangaroos
And be sentenced to jail
To be fed with injustice
Like sheep with evil shepherd
Fed with diseased cotyledons.
We will
With tear-filled eyes
Watch
Erstwhile priests of purity,
Yesterday preachers of purification
Cuddle,
Caress
Damsels of easy virtue.
In demented demagoguery
They will demean,
Dent
Dainty handkerchiefs
Left by grandees gone.
After sojourn in jail
We will be released
At the crossroads
To walk with despair
To our desolate dwelling.
