Ready to be encased
In open caskets
En route to evil forest.
Their consciences deadened
With cash from candidates.
Election hovers,
Hawks hover.
Vultures
Wait with patience
To burrow beaks
Into diseased bowels,
Protrude bellies of prodigals.
Hope is hampered
By hooligans.
Yet,
We,
Scions of probity,
Attired
In cloaks of prudence,
Our will is unshaken.
We will inherit father's will.
