Dear Pius: Your write-up got the best of me this morning. I shed tears for Baba and for your parents. I also cried for my parents who were not educated and so were not entitled to, and did not receive any retirement benefits. Yet, in their small ways, they worked so hard to build a new future--as school building committee chairpersons and fundraisers, as parish councill members, as farmers and traders who paid teachers' salaries and filled the fiscus with their sweat. Their efforts paid for the education of many of the terrorists who parade the halls of power from Owerri to Sokoto and from Maiduguri to Ikeja. Our selfless dreamers of a better future for their country would never wish us ill, let alone curse us all ( as they should), but they certainly are not happy with us, wherever they are today. All the best, Okey P.S. For some reason, I'm unable to post to USA-Africa Dialogue forum. Okey C. Iheduru, PhD Professor Dept. of Political Science Arizona State University P. O.
