The above committee of Ekiti indigenes in North America believes that the quality of elected leaders determines the quality of life we enjoy as a people. We have a choice through our votes to elect whether or not to enjoy good policy formulations, good roads, good healthcare, excellent schools, security of life and properties, flourishing economy, and a future where all Ekiti people will be proud to call home.
As we all go out on Tuesday April 26, 2011, to choose our law-makers (Senators, members of House of Representatives, and House of Assembly) we implore all Ekiti people to cast their votes, wisely, according to the dictates of their mind and good conscience. Your vote is your right; do not sell it for a "pot of portage".
