The ongoing insecurity situation in Maiduguri, north east Nigeria has attracted the attention of the Anglican Bishops of Nigeria as they have called for a state of emergency to be declared in the state. This comes as the Borno State Government has imposed a dusk to dawn curfew in the entire state.
Plateau state government has also ordered the evacuation of its students at the University of Maiduguri following the indefinite closure of the
institution as a result of the latest clash between the Joint Task Force and the Islamic sect 'Boko Haram' in Maiduguri.
