The British government is hosting a conference on Somalia today. I've posted this link so all aspects of what is happening in Somalia can be seen fully. This is a matter worthy of debate. I saw a report from Mogadishu by Andrew Harding, the author of the report in the link, he spoke to a member of the government in Somalia who said, "we are expecting to get billions of pounds/dollars fro the International community" I can imagine what Professor Ayittey would say to that statement!
