Nigeria From Sharia Movement to Boko Haram by Ali Mazrui

Obviously, there are quite a few misconceptions about the implementation of the Sharia esp depicting and reducing it as a mere movement ultimately aimed at asserting the pride of Islam in an effort to better the fortune of the northern elite and seeing it as a compensate for their political decline at the federal level. On the other hand Boko Haram's ideology is indeed "adversarial towards other religions and substantially a declaration of hostility towards Christianity and aspects of Western civilization within Nigeria." as presented in this article by the erudite prolific Professor Ali Mazrui. Generally, he has advanced some very useful insight in to the Sharia and Boko Haram especially for the non Muslims....

And the final recommendation is apt and a clue for our clueless Fed. Govt to take a cue from...
