USA Africa Dialogue Series - Call for Diaspora Partnerships With Nigerian Air Force

As part of the on-going transformations in the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) to make the AFN a support pillar of democracy and national development, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is seeking partnerships with Nigerian/African diaspora scientists, engineers, academics, and other interested, qualified and competent persons to complement their on-going research and development (R&D) programmes aimed at domesticating most of their engineering and technological/technical needs and aspirations. "Partnerships" as used here is very elastic, and ranges from sabbaticals to short-term visits, virtual and/or physical engagements; partnerships with laboratories, designers and manufacturers, academic departments, universities/colleges, individuals or groups or corporations, etc., in the following AREAS OF IMMEDIATE EXPERTISE:

1.     Aircraft Generator.

2.     UHF/VHF Radios.

3.     Aircraft Engine.

4.     Compressors and Turbine Blades.

5.     Helicopter Main Gear Box.

6.     Propellers.

7.     Auxiliary Power Unit.

8.     Electrical power.

9.     Landing gear.

10.   Ejection seat.

11.   Structural repairs.

12.   Brake System.
