This an appeal is to Prof Funmi Tofowomo Okelola to favorably consider contributing a think-piece for possible publication in the 2014 issue of KILIMANJARO magazine.
The magazine is an annual companion to the AFRICAN OF THE YEAR prize awarded to an individual considered to have made a unique positive contribution to lives of Africans in the outgoing year.
The Selection Committee is chaired by Ambassador Salim Ahmed Salim. Its membership includes Professor Abdullayi Bathily, currently a Minister in the government of Senegal, and Ms. Muthoni Wanyeki, Chair of Human Rights Commission in Kenya.
Our deadline is October 30, 2013.
