Since launching in February, Behind the Brands has mobilized more than 120,000 people to call on the Big 10 food and beverage companies to improve the way they do business.
When you asked the world's three largest chocolate companies to do right by the women who grow their cocoa, Mars, Mondelez and Nestle listened, and committed to make sure women cocoa farmers in their supply chains are respected.
The successes achieved so far would not have been possible without the power of you! Your actions have made the companies sit up and take notice, and to start making positive changes in the food system.
But the story doesn't end there. The campaign now shifts to sugar, an essential ingredient in many of our favorite brands. The Big 10 buy and produce huge amounts of sugar – but have you ever wondered where this sugar comes from?
