Please allow Ikenna to enjoy the celebrations at the festival in his

village.

I am at the airport in Miami trying to find my way back to my adopted homestead in Toronto,

Ontario.

If I were in Ikenna's shoes I wouldn't allow any  Internet chatter to infringe on my enjoyment

of our local Egungun or Oro festival either.

Let us be liberal enough to allow for differences of opinion on all issues relating to Nigeria

and others. Those threatening Ikenna with fire and brimstone because he spoke out against a fellow on

a national issue are grossly misguided!

We may disagree on one issue but end up agreeing on the next topic--only to find reasons to disagree

on the hot issues that follow the next one.

No human being is totally bad just as no human being is perfect.

I got on Princess Stella Oduah's case because I felt it was totally unfair that some fellow compatriots, rightly or wrongly were defending

her just because of the shared ethnic ancestry they had with her. Notwithstanding, I would readily admit that while this  might be true for some 

of her supporters it is not true for all of them.

What we are asking for is true and transparent justice--not justice of the Kangaroo type, where the judges are even more corrupt than the alleged offender

no matter the ethnic origin of the alleged offender,.

Stella Oduah is undoubtedly a bright and strong woman who with a little bit of help could adequately defend her position on any issues confronting her.

This is well exemplified her her submission during her appearance at the HOR committee that was setup up to probe the issues

surrounding the bullet proof limo affair.

Like most strong-willed leaders whose political survival is always numero uno on their agenda, the first thing she did was to distance

herself from all the lame excuses that had been tabled in her defence when she was away on a trip to Israell. She literally fed her senior senior assistants

and the throngs of her self appointed Internet defenders to the wolves--when she refuted the latter's claims that the luxury armored BMW limos

were purchased for her own safety because some goons have taken out contracts on her life.

She testified that the vehicles were not bought for her own personal use--but rather for the safety of international aviation officials who might be visiting Nigerian from IATA and other organizations.

Even though, I would never support the idea of providing any facilities to visiting foreign officials beyond what is available for my fellow Nigerians,

I was willing to accept her plea that she didnot approve the extravagant purchases for her own use.

Frankly, I find nothing wrong with Stella Oduah fighting for self survival!

The key issue is whether or not Ms Oduah's eloquent submissions at the HOR committee (which has already decided against her stand) and her subsequent appearance at the Presidential committee  on the same issue

would be strong enough to help save her job.

There are other issues in the terms of reference of the committees that go beyond whether or not the luxury limos were purchased for the personal use of Ms Oduah. The committees would still need to unravel]the details of the financial transactions--and decide whether or not they were conducted according to the letter and the sprit of the Public Procurement Act. For instance how does she justfy paying over 100% above the MRSP

for the vehicles based on delivery in Nigeria? Did anyone get a kickback in these transactions?

We are waiting with baited breath for the  decision of the Presidential committee and the final decision from President Jonathan on this matter!

For Nigeria to make any meaningful progress we must stop thinking along ethnic lines on national issues!

What is bad is bad regardless of whose is on the hot seat!

The Igbo spotters roam around Igbo to know who to turn in to Sowore and Sahara Reporters to ruin. Dora Udenna turned me to the suckers and they published my addresses in Chicago on the www. They marched around Jericho 7 times before the sucker crumbled. I will march around these suckers until they go and get real jobs. Some of the suckers are supposed to be university professors. And instead of aspiring to become university chancellors and head of departments or even university presidents, they spend their idle time spotting Igbo ministers for Sowore and Sahara Reporters to abuse. $22mil villa in Vienna. A big lie spawned by an Igbo and parroted by Sowore and Sahara Reporters. And believed by zombies. 

Here. A Yoruba is the head at University of Illinois, Champaign. The Chancellor. A Yoruba is the head of the Law School at University of California Davis in Sacramento. How do I know? My daughter is a graduate of University of California Davis. And I just bid farewell to the law school at Davis to a Yoruba kid from Chicago (Oladeinde) who left to go to the law school. These accomplished Yoruba scholars don't spend any of their time spotting Yoruba ministers for any one to harass. But these Igbo professors, who shall remain nameless at this juncture, go around spotting Igbo ministers for Sowore and Sahara Reporters. Yea. They are good writers and all that shit. If they are that good, how come they are not Chancellors and heads of Law Schools in the US? 

Don't get me wrong. There got to be other Igbo doing well and heading university departments. But those will never condescend to be spotters for Sowore and Sahara Reporters. These shameful ones cannot aspire to anything noble. We got their numbers. And we must shame them for their own good. 

I challenge Sowore and Sahara Reporters and Yinka Odumakin and Aluko to go on and dig deeper into my background. If you find that I have been jailed for any offenses, I will not even deny your lies because it will make no difference in my attempts to shame you all. I am ready to get in the gutter with any suckers who have nothing else to do except hunt only any and every Igbo in government in the name of fighting corruption. These suckers give the impression that Igbo in government are the only crooks in Nigeria. And Igbo with college degrees cannot spot the fallacy and lies that Sowore and Sahara Reporters are hawking. And the suckers spot other Igbo for Sowore and Sahara Reporters to molest. The shame is that all these suckers will faint if they get an audit letter from IRS. Only God knows what lies they tell on their tax returns. I waited this long to wade in, first to understand the essence of the Aviation discomposure and secondly, to understand Ikenna and where he cometh from and third, trying to find a way to elevate the conversation beyond the noise level where Ikenna seems to reside comfortably. The challenge for me and I believe for most is how to persuade a man like Ikenna whose best output as a matter of contribution to current affairs is noise and noise making that there is another level above his noise level. As a matter of fact more than a few folks tried to no avail. There is no doubt that Ikenna has deluded himself that he possesses the necessary facultative prowess to participate in the current discourse hence his exuberance, enthusiasm and excitement but unfortunately his reasoning, articulation, judgment and antics kept failing him. It is difficult to have a relevant conversation with the guy who is all over the place, will not answer simple questions and keeps moving the topical goal post erratically.  If you doubt me, all you need to do is follow his sophomoric and jaundiced postings in his effort to demonstrate versatility. Commenting on anything and everything that passes by is a sign of lack of focus which is what Ikenna is suffering from. I wish someone will tell him that he probably fits very well in one of Nigerian's gossip columns equivalent of Jerry Springer crowd, exactly where noise making is a requirement.

My problem is that Ikenna has demonstrated such level of ineptness that it is difficult to know where to start to educate the guy. The complication with Ikenna is that when he exhausts his limited two cents he goes into this self induced soliloquy of making up scenarios and asking questions of himself and the readers that neither the reader nor himself can possible know the answers, after which he will quip that that makes his case because nobody can proffer answers to his imaginary questions that have no basis in reality in the first place. It is my most anticipation that the man is hunky dory upstairs because most of his inclinations tend him as a conspiracy theorist. The issue is that conspiracy theorist tendency is a crippling affliction, a disorder and an indisposition where facts, information and reality are not well managed because these conspiracy theorists come equipped with their own self created sets of facts and realities. Doesn't this remind one of Ikenna's cut and dry approach to what some have dubbed Oduahgate as he applied his own set of standards and no one can convince him otherwise?

As if the noise Ikenna was making was not enough, he then elevates himself to the position of an arbiter of fairness in Nigeria affairs. What an irony and what an insult to his own naïveté and not to Igbo sensibility.  Only, if Ikenna will one day realize how benighted he is about the contraption called Nigeria vis-a-vi the Igbo but that is highly doubtful because his antecedences do not incline him to such amendments.  Ikenna, I know no one has told you this but if you have to know, the requisites to preside or adjudge fairness although an oxymoron in Nigeria context are brainpower, reasoning, understanding and comprehension none of which you have demonstrated are your forte.   

What terribly escapes Ikenna is context! Context! Context! and how you engage anyone without a sense of context bits me because all you succeed in doing is talking pass each other which is what has been happening with Ikenna and those that have cared to respond to his ill-informed position as he wonders off in different directions at the same time, another characteristic of denseness.  But I will try nonetheless. So let us take the Aviation ministry as an instance and also in context. This is about forty three years since the British Biafran war ended in Nigeria and the Nigerian Aviation ministry has been majorly ran by the Yoruba and the Hausas and they ran it aground, they looted and mismanaged the ministry that all that was left was its shadows. Before any Igbo showed up in the Aviation ministry as a minister there was nothing left to manage and neither was the entrenched interest of Yoruba ready to allow the resuscitation of the ministry until the Iron lady Princess Stella Oduah showed up and started kicking asses, arms and legs out of the way to get things done.  Now for forty years not a single success was recorded in terms of improvement when Yorubas and Hausas managed the Aviation ministry and mind you money was budgeted every year for the ministry and Nigerians neither saw any improvement or achievement in the ministry nor the money that was budgeted for those forty years. So Nigerians lost on both fronts, no accomplishment no money for forty years. Someone has to remind me of how many ministers were called to account or fired for insubordination and dereliction of duty. This is the context against which any reasonable person must use in engaging in this present brouhaha pretences. Ikenna, what is unfortunate about this whole tomfoolery is that the people that started this nonsense had a sinister agenda and knew that it was nonsensical even before they planted the story in Saharareporter but Ofeke like Ikenna  a wonnabe detribalist who does not know any better and just like a noise maker that he is jumped into the bandwagon like I said earlier without context and understanding and started driving the wagon harder than those that brought the wagon. Typical of Yoruabas, they start a fight and before you know it they turn into spectators egging the fight on. Knucklehead Ikenna what does he know?

It is pertinent to note that Stella Oduah's presence in the Aviation ministry and her achievements is appraised against forty years of looting, destruction and none performance. Interestingly, even her arch critics are not challenging her professionalism, competence or her accomplishments. The question then is what is the issue ladies and gentlemen? Let us even accept for the sake of argument that she spent more than authorized but she was never accused of stealing for her own personal benefit. That reality also escaped Ikenna the beautiful crusader. The reality is that Ikenna is an attention seeker and will engage in any bizarre antics to get attention simply and short. Ikenna, bear in mind that Oduah's context is against forty years of no achievement and not knowing where the budgeted money for the ministry went either. When people demand interalia wisdom, understanding and judgment in leadership it is not for nothing but for Ikenna's type these attributes are strange phenomenon indeed. Wisdom demands that leaders keep their eyes on the ball with the understanding that a bird at hand is better than ten in the bush.  Stella is like a bird at hand. Ikenna will want us to believe that the Iron lady Princess Stella Oduah can be replaced by another competent person just like that when it took Nigeria more than forty years to find her type. Do not get me wrong, we have plenty of competent Igbo but it requires a special kind of competence to deal with Yoruba machinations and blackmail and the Iron lady seems to have the moxie, the hardihood and the no nonsense attitude to roust the Yorubas out of their destructive positions in order to move the ministry forward.  My hope is that Jonathan understands what he is up against and calls their bluff and tells the Yoruba entrenched interest to go to hell or go hog a tree, their preference.

Again only Ikenna believes that the successes that Igbo ministers have recorded against all odds and are still recording are all coincidences which is another Ikenna's attempt to arbitrate fairness Ikenna style and demonstrate that he is detribalized. Ikenna is a sorry soul without a doubt, evidence that the man is playing above his league and now has become an embarrassment, not that he realizes it anyway. He is too enthused by his new found knowledge of corruption to listen to anybody. For the record, after Dr. Nnaji left, if I am not mistaking an Hausa man was appointed and after his second meeting with the president he was redeployed to south south project because he was clueless and a south south man was appointed with the same result before Jonathan returned to where competence is exercised and he appointed an Igbo Professor Nebo who has been running the energy sector since then but the fact that he has been running the place for this long now is a coincidence according to Ikenna. The problem with Ikenna is that he is too conspiratorial, a terrible personality trait to say the least that he sees things in flat formats, so at his level everything is seen as the same notwithstanding context. In other words there are no hills or valley in his world. He cries out for probity and competence when if either hit him smack in the face he mostly likely will not recognize what hit him.

Sometimes, I wonder why I am even responding to this train wreck. Listen to this inanity, according to Ikenna, Stella Oduah 's successes are because Jonathan gave her department more budget than the previous ministers in the last forty years. Folks, this is what passes as serious conversation from Ikenna on an important issue. Need I say more? Isn't this enough evidence that we have all been responding to the hallucinations of one man called Ikenna.

Strangely enough by Ikenna's limited logic he will be of the opinion that President Obama should be thrown out of office because of the difficulties Obama care is having and the cost overrun. What Ikenna needs to realize is that plenty is not the same as quality. We have had plenty of ministers in the past forty years with bad outcomes. What is at stake on a serious note is whether Nigerians will continue to have their most important conversation at the same bottom level of cacophony where there are many noise makers or will Nigeria rebuild its middle class and create many levels of conversation so folks can fit into their level of competence? That is the question. I do not particularly blame Ikenna, it is the responsibility of the leadership to create Ikenna's level asap by embracing standard, merit, competence and productivity so that guys like Ikenna can find their place as would be expected.

I do not believe that there is a chance that Ikenna will double back, reevaluate or abandon his idiotic positions anytime soon because, one he does not possess the sound analytical tools nor the facultative capacity and two the issue is not Ikenna per se but a personality thing – conspiracy theorist instinct that resides in the man Ikenna. What is important is that the readers understand him and his deficiencies and take his submissions with a grain of salt and levity.

Ikenna if you must respond out of whatever this does to you, I will like you to do me a favor and answer this simple question as your first response, though that is a fat chance. Find me one Yoruba or Hausa minister who achieved or accomplished anything in office in the past forty years. If you can answer that question proceed with your rebuttal, if not do not waste your time, mine time or other reader's time.
