As the world mourns, I must pay tribute to Winnie Mandela, warrior, she who toiled in the harsh sun to make sure the world would not forget a warrior toiling in the shadows breaking rocks for the children of the future. Winnie, the world forgave your husband his flaws. It is a man's world. In my eyes, you have no flaws. I love you Winnie, for giving us Madiba. *applause*
Winnie Mandela was vilified and crucified for having "affairs" in the 27 years she stayed in the struggle without Mandela. I am a man; I would not have lasted 27 weeks without sex! I would have lasted 27 days. By fasting and praying! I love you, Winnie! *cycles away slowly*
The West reviled Winnie Mandela, like a mother hen, she could count the hawks. The West loved Mandela, like a father, he could forgive evil. Like a grateful son, I salute you both.
