Nominations are being accepted for the 32nd Annual Marilyn Sternberg Award, which recognizes an individual AAUP member's or chapter's outstanding contributions to the work of the academic labor movement and on behalf of the principles it shares with social justice and human rights efforts everywhere.

At the 1981 annual meeting of the American Association of University Professors, the AAUP's Collective Bargaining Congress passed a resolution establishing the Marilyn Sternberg Award. This monetary award, the resolution stated, is to be given annually to the "AAUP member who best demonstrates the concern for human rights, courage, persistence, political foresight, imagination, and collective bargaining skills." Learn more about the Sternberg award, including past recipients, at http://www.aaupcbc.org/about/marilyn-sternberg-award<https://online.aaup.org/aaupssa/ecmssamsganalytics.click_through?p_mail_id=E40469A14836162B1C13550>.

All AAUP-CBC chapters are invited to submit nominations for the award; the nominees may be individuals or chapters. The recipient is announced online, and the award is presented at the June meeting of the CBC.

Letters of nomination and any additional supporting materials should be mailed to the Sternberg Award Committee, c/o Alexis Pearlstein, American Association of University Professors, 1133 Nineteenth Street NW, Second Floor, Washington DC 20036. You may also email letters to apearlstein@aaup.org<https://online.aaup.org/aaupssa/ecmssamsganalytics.click_through?p_mail_id=E40469A14836162B1C13551>. Nominations must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6. The award will be announced electronically and on our website, and the awardee will be recognized at the AAUP-CBC's annual meeting in June.
