Thank you, Funmi Tofowomo Okelola, for providing this elixir to alleviate Ikhide Ikheloa's pain from intellectual menopause and reminding him of his past that he has hurriedly forgotten. Buhari is the Presidential candidate of APC and if he is sick and admitted into the hospital, that is not the problem of Ikhide and his beloved PDP but that of APC. In case of death or sickness there is constitutional provision as to how that should be resolved. APC has declared that their Presidential candidate, Buhari, is hail and hearty but schizotypal persons who believe in things that most people in this world do not, such as having extra sensory powers and ability to read minds, are saying Buhari is sick and hospitalized. These odd and eccentric people should just be left to continue their dump campaigns that add no value to the presidential election debates.
In the 2015 Budget, submitted by President Jonathan to the National Assembly for approval, the Presidency/State House is seeking approval to spend the sum of thirty-one million, five-hundred and eighty-two thousand and four-hundred and seventy-five naira (N31,582,475) for medical expenses. That is almost the same amount that was expended by the President in 2014. If President Jonathan is so healthy, what does he need, approximately, N32 million medical expenses for? The health of Buhari is non issue to debate and if Ikhide and his cohorts want the Presidential candidates to submit medical certificates before contesting election, they should first amend the constitution and the electoral laws to that effect. Until then the health of Buhari is his and APC concern!!
