Which general public? Does DY not know that property owners, including wily politicians do choose to live in rented apartments at one time or the other, for different reasons?

Buhari had to be sold to the Nigerian electorate. His campaign organization needed to construct a theme that will define the coordinates of its general message. It articulated one- Buhari is neither a corrupt or wealthy man. Going by the presidential election results, the Nigerian electorate bought the sell. End of story.

Why anyone paying attention believed that Buhari was who his supporters claimed him to be, and will remain so is beyond me. Is there anyone who is unaware of what was famously said about birds of the same feather?

I am just hoping that Buhari, unlike many of his predecessors in the office he presently occupies, sees the light if he has not already. He has a gifted opportunity to move Nigeria and Nigerians forward. Will he? That is the question.

Dr. Obiwu is spot on. This is really a commentary on how the new folks at Aso Rock are behaving. Badly. Buhari et al had many weeks to put together a professional team before the Inauguration. They obviously did not and/or have refused to use whatever they inherited. What Nigerians have gotten so far is stony silence from Aso Rock, leaving us to endure juvenile "It was gathered from reliable sources" tales from poorly educated wanna be media aides on social media. It would be foolish for anyone to get excited about any of the tales that we have heard so far about the Buhari's regime. When will there be a robust media team that will start putting out real information and quashing fake news? This is getting serious. For now we are left to wonder...

This is exceedingly disappointing. Nigerians deserve better than this black-out.
