It is history repeating itself. Who remembers that Ankara and Rome were capitals of mighty empires. Today they are at best 2nd rate cities of 2nd world countries. That is where the former Great Britain is headed.

1. Brexit victory means lower British Pound and Euro currency strengths against the Dollar! The likely ramification and impact of Brexit on trade blocks and socioeconomic and political consequences are disastrous for the EU but more power for the US Dollar that has it trading block intact; 

2. Without a buffering Euro power, the UK is at-risk economically; if Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and France [with Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland and Austria are minor players; Greece is lame at this time] can keep the rest of EU afloat, the zone will be less powerful without the UK; but Germany is quite powerful!

3. China, Japan and the Asian Tigers are likely to step up; and this may be the undoing of the UK.

Ultimately, the US remains, not only as the UNDEFEATED AND UNDISPUTED ECONOMIC AND MILITARY SUPERPOWER, the US$ remains the world's preeminent currency! So HOLD UNTO YOUR US$!!
