Ethiopia elected non permanent member of Security Council 2017-2019
Hoping that the forum's political scientists will spell out to us the significance of Ethiopia's membership , what will Ethiopia bring to the table for Africa,
especially since they are an active player in that region known as the Horn of Africa and are interventionists in Somalia.
Last night one of the guys at our round table scoffed that Ethiopia, Bolivia and Kazakhstan are "US lackeys"
Meanwhile, in my corner of the Diaspora, it's Jubilation. A peacock's feather now in Margot Wallström's hat : Sweden wins seat on Security Council.
