A report of my experience in attending the 5th - 6th April 2016 Places of Amnesia conference at the University of Cambridge, exploring the presentations on remembering and forgetting from various spatio-temporal frames, conjoining these with art from different cultural contexts and periods, and distilling insights in relation to the Yoruba origin Ifa system of knowledge as a strategy for exploring the intersection of past, present and future.
