Good reminder about Achebe's Birthday! November 16 is also the Birthday of the Great Zik of Africa, Nigeria's First President, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe.
Chief Obafemi Awolowo once said that the fact that his Nigerian Tribune Newspaper was first published on November 16, 1949 was not a mere coincidence in a compliment to Azikiwe's legendary journalism.
