Ladies & Gentlemen,
If anyone is reading...I went to see the film, Moonlight by Director Barry Jenkins last night with my partner. Seriously, the 89th Academy Awards must truly, truly recognize the brilliance of Mr. Barry Jenkins.
Moonlight is about Black Lives Matter and most importantly is about the trajectory of a family: a boy, his mother, his community, his sexual identity, his peers, his role models, the kindness of strangers, and all, and all. I felt all emotions: sadness, anger, disappointment, joy, etc, etc...etc.
Please see this film if you have an open mind about alternative sexual identity, and if you truly care about humanity.
Have a wonderful week!
