Another, deluded, fake, self-appointed, Islamophobic Bishop preaching curses such as "Islamic demons". The rest of his vituperative language has no place in the vocabulary of one who calls himself an apostle of love, an ambassador of Jesus of Nazareth or an apostle of God, sent to this world as "God's apostle of liberation to Africa". Does he think that that is how Pope Francis prays? In all humility, does he know before Whom he stands when he prays?
As St. John, Jesus' Beloved disciple says, "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1 ) (I visited John's basilica in Ephesus in Turkey in March, 2015 and communed with him for some time - and later on with the Blessed Virgin Mary who is believed to be buried about twenty meters away from him.)
As St Paul wrote to the Corinthians, "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal."(1 Corinthians 13)
Hopefully, the Almighty neither listens to nor grants the heinous, unpatriotic and satanic wishes and curses of Bishop Oyedapo. Instead of preaching unity, peace and love, in his vexation, he would like to exacerbate discord and disunity and worse than that the dismemberment of Nigeria, couched in some pious words such as "if God wills", God will fulfil all his unholy wishes.
Why not pray that the evil become good? As the saying goes, from the fullness of the heart, the mouth speaketh. Here are some prayerful sentiments: "Blessing and peace be ever thine own"
"You anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows." (King David )
The wording of the prayer below should be more fitting of the Bishop , especially at a time of national calamity:
"Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen." (St. Francis Prayer)

To his members, he said, "Come on, pray in the spirit everybody. Pray in the spirit, open fire, call down the Holy Ghost fire to descend on the camp of the enermy. Enough is Enough!"
Speaks in tongues again.
"If Nigeria wakes up, wait for the church to rise. There will be no more nation, what nonsense."
"What demonic devils. What Islamic demons. If Nigeria waits for the church to rise, Nigeria will disappear as a nation."
Speaks in tongue.
"You mean God cannot protect people? What a mess!"
"Every agent of destruction in Government today, call fire down on their head, call fire down on their head."
"Everyone sponsoring evil against the nation, let your fire fall on him!"
"A Boko Haram agent was captured and they said he escaped. Everyone connected to his escape, fire consume them, consume them, consume them!"
