Everytime I read an article or a response to an earlier article about topics like these ones, I am almost reduced to tears. Every writer is presenting his own bias as historical fact. And really, does anyone think that the other is going to give ground? If this is not the case, why do we, Nigerians, I mean highly educated Nigerians choose to dwell on non-productive issues.
Please, everyone, please let us debate issues that can be beneficial to our country. There are far too many issues out there that we can debate that will be of benefit to us - not AWO-ZIK-SADAUNA issues. Let the dead bury the dead please. Let us move on to create a better Nigeria and Africa for our children.
Any of us who may think that the Igbos are better than the Yoruba who in turn are inferior to Hausas or any permutation that may suit his or her purpose, so be it. All humans, no matter where they may be are busy looking for a better tomorrow for their kind. Let this be our pursuit. Please.
