i read it with great pleasure. names are really a funny thing. my generation of 3d generation americans got mostly american names, with no attention really paid to the meanings. we were named mostly after my parents' friends, and they reflected not a drop of our ethnicity or origins. now i have kids naming my grandkids, and it's a blast. my one son married an indian woman, and they've chosen turkish names for both their children (the idea being that turkey lies halfway between america and india). my other son's babies are felix and lucille, not named after any relatives. lucille was a great rock and roll song by little richard that we sang when i was a teenager, and felix just means happy, which he seems to be!
