APC could not have looted Nigeria for eighteen years when it is yet to govern Nigeria for four years. Many PDP joined APC with the believe that corruption cases filed against them by the EFCC during the era of PDP would be withdrawn. That has not happened as cases of the former PDP Governors, Plateau State (1999-2007), Joshua Chibi Dariye, and Taraba State (1999-2007), Jolly Nyame, have shown. They both joined APC but treasury looting cases filed against them by the EFCC since July 2007 continued and they were jailed last year. You must also note that some of those who joined APC from PDP had no treasury looting or corruption cases filed against them. It is, therefore, unjust to list all those who crossed over to APC from PDP as treasury looters when there were no investigations and court cases filed against them for treasury looting or corruption. Atiku Abubakar joined the APC in 2014 even though he was PDP vice President between 1999 and 2007. Will it make sense to assert that robberies committed by him when he was a PDP vice President from 1999 to 2007 should be deemed committed by the APC in 2015- 2019?
