The world clapped

And danced

And sang along,

Ancestors

Played the instruments.

Mind merchants

Attempted purchase but failed.

At that hour

When that big iron bird 

Crashed,

When those big balls of fire broke,

Fate

Strapped big songbird

Inside the belly

Of that big iron bird.

Big songbird died,

The world mourned

And sought

For another songbird

To sing the songs

Like the songbird that died.
