​The charge sheet against Onnoghen did not contain accusation of undeclared houses which was why the first witness, ex-Director of the Code of Conduct Bureau could say that Onnoghen's declaration form has not been verified. Landed and housing properties if stated in the declarant form, must be verified in order to prevent anticipatory declaration of properties. It does not make sense for the ex-Director of CCB to testify that Onnoghen has only five houses when, according to the testimony, his assets declaration form has not been verified. How then could he know that Onnoghen has only five houses and not more or less?

I would like to read your viewpoint on this: "The first witness (PW2), an ex director of the Code of Conduct Bureau amongst other things, testified that Onnoghen has only 5 houses as against the 55 he is accused of. He also stated that Onnoghen assets declaration form has not been VERIFIED".
