As a moderator, I should not have posted the reference to Jibrin's father. I did not catch that aspect in Farooq's posting. It crosses the line. My pressing the button to post also crosses the line. I woke up to many private messages where people, including admirers of Farooq, expressed anger.
Incidentally, I posted it at the very spot where I last saw Jibrin when we were drinking beer with mutual friends at an impressive hotel called Carleton Gate.
Our emotional investments in making Nigeria a great country may end up eating us up.
