I am greatly distressed to share the heartrending news of the death of Professor Christine Ohale's son on December 23, 2019. Professor Ohale, a professor of English at Chicago State University, is an active although silent member of this group.
School of Communication & Media
-- Professor Ohale is a very private person and probably wouldn't appreciate my sharing this unbearably horrible news with the group, but I just can't keep it to myself. My apologies, Professor Ohale.
I've been distraught since she shared the news with me today, and one of my coping mechanisms is to share the news with others.
I believe that in moments like this, we need all the emotional support we can get. Please reach out to her if and when you can. Her email is cohale@csu.edu
