Very good news. Unfortunately for the country if he had applied for VC of University of Abuja, or Lagos, or Ife, or ABU or others outside his SE geopolitical zone in Nigeria, he would automatically be excluded for not being a native. Something that must be stopped. To his credit Jonathan began to reverse that trend with the new federal universities he started; but things went back to usual ( and got worse) after Jonathan left office.
