By Chidi Anthony Opara
The song bird
Got ready to sing again,
The scoundrels
Didn't want another song,
Another exposé.
Enforcers were deployed.
An invasion,
A stand off,
House imprisonment!
Robin Hood
Appeared on horseback
Adorned with apparel of knighthood,
Clutching a shiny sword.
A rescue,
The song bird was rescued.
The season of songs is here.
