If you missed the talk, don't think you missed a lot. I got tired of the regurgitation of toxic insults, even though historiographical, having heard them a zillion times. There was too much of that - even when coming from a challenger. Valuable time was lost.
Diop's chapter "Origin of the ancient Egyptians" in UNESCO's General History of Africa (1992) vol. 2 pp. 27-52, said it all- and much more.
