what is the question?

i mean the real one.

is nato a pact for aggression or defense? or both?

an excuse for europe to let u.s. weapons do the work they don't want to pay for?

i don't want to dance around the issues, dear cornelius. i don't really think nato is an issue, frankly. there are alliances that are armed, that include the west; others arrayed against them. they shift a bit, but the real issue for me is that it means nothing to go on and on about nato without considering russian missiles and policies in the same breath. and now china as well.

they are all dancing together, playing with fire since no one will lay down arms.
