USA Africa Dialogue Series - Is the past now irrelevant?

Great ones:

 

I pose questions, not that I have an answer. In many of the narratives on the ongoing war, one disturbing trope has emerged: we should not talk much about the past. I hope many of you have noticed this. How can I understand a war without reference to other wars?

 

I first noticed this in the attack directed at Critical Race Theory.
