USA Africa Dialogue Series - Nigeria:whats to be done

NIgeria: what"s to be done, in my own opinion.
1 go back to doing arts and crafts as subjects in our primary schools
to instil in nigerians the culture of making things and not a culture reckless purchase or importation.
2 promote participatory sports ,recreation an games to encourage nigerians to play by the rules and not do things like rigging elections to imbibe the spirit of the olympics that it is participation that matters not the winning of games
3 restore the voluntary organisation of old to imbibe good values and principles i am of curse referring to boys brigade, boy scouts,girl scouts, brownie ,girls guide etc
encourage children to keep pets such that they take proper care of them this may pre[are them for the caring professions and general well being of others #culture #sports #nigeria #schools #elections
