Thank you for being part of the Organization Leadership & Development Network 2024 (OLDN24) conference last month. Your presence and engagement were essential to the event's success, and we hope you found the discussions inspiring and valuable.
OLDN24 is part of the larger Co-Creating a Regenerative Africa initiative, and we're thrilled to announce our next step: a Call for Literary Works. We are seeking submissions—articles, essays, poems, or short stories—reflecting the topics and ideas explored at the conference. Whether it's sharing your thoughts on a session that resonated with you or expanding on a compelling theme.
Important Dates:
- Abstracts/Summaries Due: October 14
- Full Works Due: November 12
This initiative is co-led by the African Publishers Network (APNET) and the Pan-African Writers' Association (PAWA), offering a unique opportunity for your voice to be heard across a broader audience.
What's in it for You?
- Inclusion in the Regenerative Africa Library: Your work will be featured on our Regenerative Africa Library website.
- Digital Anthology: Finalist works will be published in a digital anthology.
- Social Media Recognition: We'll share your contributions across our social media platforms.
- Print Publication: Contributors will receive a complimentary copy of the published work, and selected pieces may appear in international journals through our partners.
- Greater Exposure in Literary and Publishing Circles:
- Writers will gain visibility within APNET and PAWA circles.
- Dr. Wale Okediran, Secretary General of PAWA and Chair of the Judges for the inaugural CANEX Prize for Publishing in Africa, will be part of this initiative.
Can we count on your participation? If so, please submit a summary, abstract, or full piece by October 14. If you have any questions or need additional information, feel free to reach out.
Find full details here.
Looking forward to your submission and continued engagement!
Kind regards,
Romancia
