Robert Jenrick and Kemi Badenoch are the two finalists in the Conservative leadership race, sadly, "after knocking out" James Cleverly.
In this our USA-Africa Series, there must be a lot of excitement about British-Nigerian politician Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke Badenoch vying for leadership of the UK's Conservative Party , and we are to assume that the excitement must be at fever pitch at the UK-Africa series, assuming there is one. The excitement of course will soon be over the boiling point if she actually "knocks out" Robert Jenrik - ditto too if Blackness's Tamil-Jamaican-American Kamala Devi Harris were to "knock out" Donald J. Trump
For Afro-centrists, internationalists and Kemi's well wishers the good news is that according to left wing Professor Bernard Porter, Kemi's rival Robert Jenrick "is a monster; a smooth-faced one, but no less monstrous for that" - but allegedly according to Bernard Porter's blog post Race and the Tory Leadership, Kemi is the opposite in gender only. The post begins,
"So, the Tories' choice for leader lies between two Right-wing (even by Conservative standards) candidates: anti-EU, anti-human rights legislation, anti-welfare, very anti-immigration, and anti-what they call 'woke'." - enough to whet the appetite of the race -conscious or even the race-weary, to read the rest of the blog-piece
