Not accidentally, as I watched Lyse Doucet's succinct summary of the latest events in Iran, as reported by the BBC, I thought that we should begin any "analysis" by visiting the very foundations of Iran's current existence - the theocracy's theory and practice of government, namely Wilayat-e Faqih // Wilayat-e Faqih
I trace the current sorry state of world affairs directly back to Baruch Spinoza and the so-called post-Enlightenment era in which we are living. Lastly, Trump has been pontificating on what he's gonna do if Iran's Supreme Leader hangs any protesters - leaves you wondering about the Death Penalty in the US ( not to mention the extrajudicial killings in the US) -also death the penalty in Middle East Countries, if Trump likes, with a special focus on The Death Penalty and executions in his best buddy's Saudi Arabia where at least 356 people were executed last year
