Behind the Man is a short film that reveals the people behind one of Africa’s renowned scholars, Prof. Toyin Falola. Many view prolific scholars as lonely, self-made individuals with little social interaction. However, Behind the Man shifts the focus to those (especially families) who quietly inspire and support scholars in modest ways, often remaining behind the scenes and unrecognized.
