This essay argues that in passing away,Esiaba Irobi has become an ancestor. In becoming an ancestor those still living on earth can explore the possibility of relating with him and perhaps making requests of him as is done by those who venerate ancestors and other spirits .Suggestions are presented for the methods one could use in relating with Esiaba in his new state of being.A book for further reading on ancestor veneration is also suggested.
It would be exciting to read experiences emerging from applying these suggestions.
