work when I came across the post earlier this week. She's working on
"Enchained Masculinity: African-American Men of the Slave South," and
her innovative usage of primary sources was quite intriguing a few
years ago when she spoke about her ongoing research in the midwest.
She does incorporate an Atlantic/diaspora vision, which made it
interesting to me, as I was not in Black American / African American
Studies back then. Thanks again.
