USA Africa Dialogue Series - An illiberal dose : Condell takes on the BBC and The Guardian

I guess it's cultural - like bread and peanut butter and Jam ---- no
butter.

From my point of view, Pat Condell, so passionately full of the usual
it (white heat or hot shit, call it what you will) is simply
hilarious.

It's not for the Tattler or for Punch or Private Eye or a high voltage
term paper designed to be intelligible enough to challenge the
critical intelligence of say the late professor Victor Le Vine.

Yet it must sound like music to some of the heavy heavy lefties
(southpaws y'all) big wigs, little wigs, iconoclasts, anti-
colonialists, anti-impies (imperialists) in this forum, but not to
yours truly who still prefers sipping tea to drinking coffee, and and
still luxuriates in the that " God save the Queen" feeling since he
was gratefully, linguistically colonised by the benign Brits and like
Man Friday a linguistic product not of Robinson Cruse but Michael
Brunson and Justice Bankole Thompson ( you don't have to believe it or
even understand it, but that's why he is therefore still a congenial
companion of both the ITV and the BBC and Adam Bolton on Sky News.

At worst, you're supposed to enjoy this (as a right wing Swede would)
or get lost in your one hole or whole university town... and Brother
Abdul Karim "in peace only" but turned a little savage & sadistic of
late passing a drastic premature sentence on DSK and with a
vengeance - although DSK has only been accused ( and according to the
Justice system is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty)
without any bloodthirsty " Allah (SWT) Will Vindicate Our Guinean
Sister: "The BOZO should be hanged by his balls and be allowed to
expire slowly."

And Oh the immunity from prosecution that Internet's hide and write
can provide. Race hatred? You can persecute your enemies to your
heart's content and get away with it. You don't need a diplomatic
passport any more. I bet that Brother Abdul wouldn't have told Iron
Mike (Mike Tyson the accused ) that to his face ... and not "be
allowed to expire slowly..."
