A colleague in Irish Studies is proposing a conference for 2013. In addition to focus on African Americans, he would like to include perspectives on 'African-Irish relationships/encounters/exchanges etc.' I am therefore seeking information on Africanist scholars whose research relate to ties between Africa and Ireland (all of) and could be invited at speakers at the proposed conference.
