Yes, the thread has gotten too long with probably too much personal stuff. Just so the list knows, though, we are both recommending S.O.Y. Keita, you by name, me by his contribution to _Writing African History_ where he contributed a chapter on physical anthropology that was already outdated by the time the book went to press. That's in the nature of advances in biology in general, and physical anthropology in particular, these days.
