How are you sure that you do?

Then again that one is possessing of so articulate and fertile an imagination that the one makes correct meaning all the time of all unfamiliar, unusual, and even esoteric terms and context, is not to say that everyone else does. No one needs reminding that there are people who prefer certainty of meaning to adventurous conjecture.

I have known for some time now that there are some people who believe that they know it all and who also believe that there are others who know next to nothing and must be not erudite, unscrupulous, and shameless to seek help. I also know that all who wish that their communication be correctly and fully understood usually have others in mind and not themselves only, when they communicate. It has been said has it not, that it takes courage to try to escape from ignorance while it take arrogance to remain ignorant.

Oh give it up! If someone had used Latin or French (these days Chinese) words/expressions that we have never encountered we would have assumed that the person was showing his/her erudition, learning, etc., better still his/her acapompo (ask me to explain it). I have never encountered "abinibi" anywhere, but understood its frame of reference and meaning! Abi use your abinibi.

What is “abinibi”?

I believe that the language of this forum is the English language. While non-English words may be used by forum contributors, it does not bear reminding that non-English words should be translated into the English language and when necessary explained, if the use of such words are to enrich conversations. It is important that all communication through this forum is effective, full and meaningful.
