Motherland lay languid

Raped,

Her dignity desecrated.

The scoundrels celebrate again,

Their sirens

Screaming again.

From the East

I hear

The ballyhoo of Biafra.

From the West

Restructure resonates.

From the North

I hear

The loud sound of nothing.
